Pudsey 10k 2016

Returned to running in 2015 after a 10 year absence due to illness and did Dewsbury parkrun for the first time Oct 31, coincidently my 58th birthday. Took me over 35 minutes to get around and it was touch and go at that. Been steadily improving since and happily it provided the platform for other running events. During 2016 I played catch up, entering as many as I could to make up for the missed years and although a long time since I saw 'glory days', I sometimes catch a faint glimpse. I feel very lucky to be running again after being told it was game over and am so pleased I have been able to join Dewsbury RR.
