Training Nights	19th Nov 2023
As Dewsbury Sports Centre is now.closed, we meet in the car park in front of the West Riding at Dewsbury railway station. Parking is currently free after 6pm but please check. Occasionally, we may have reason to meet elsewhere, such as on monthly social events or AGMs. The two main training nights are Tuesday and Thursday and members meet between 6.15 . In the summer months the Club meet at The Leggers Inn at the nearby Canal Basin on Mill St East and routes are then mainly off-road. In the Winter the Club hires the track at Princess Mary Playing Fields, Spenborough and we run Speed Training Sessions for all members on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Routes of different distances are usually offered and cater for a broad range of runners. These are Road runs, with occasional options for trail runs and special events. Our members are very welcoming and someone will always be available and happy to run with newcomers.

Dewsbury Road Runners was formed in the early 80's and cater for all types of runners including fell runners , road runners, orienteering runners we arrange regular social events and trips to races , including our annual trip to Race The Train in Wales. We also compete in several cross country leagues during the winter and summer months.
